Damien McMahon
I have been a New River Valley resident since 1990 when I accepted a full athletic scholarship to Virginia Tech. I was the starting right guard from'91-'94 and served as team captain my senior season. I had the opportunity to lead the Hokies to the Independence Bowl in '93 and the Gator Bowl in '94- the first two bowl games in their current streak!
I started working at the Home in the spring of 1995 and have worked my way up through the ranks to my current position of Shift Supervisor- Program Policies and Procedures.
My wife and I reside in Radford with a black lab named Levi and her six cats- Cozzy, Binky, Puddin', Abby (O.K.- I'll claim her!), Mi Mi, and Jordan. I have a son named Braeden who lives with his mother in VA Beach.
I have been a lifelong fishaholic and am well known on the local bass tournament scene. I have been a J.V. Football coach at Blacksburg H.S. since 2004 where I coach both the offensive and defensive line. I also enjoy pouring lead and crafting my own lures for fishing.
